Using this website, and the standing note on our trail listings.
These terms cover your use of the Sapphire Coast Runners website, you accept them by using the site, and they sit alongside our privacy policy.
About this website
This site is run by Sapphire Coast Runners, a volunteer run, not-for-profit club on the Far South Coast of NSW. It exists to tell people about the club, its events, its group runs and the local trails.
The trail notes are a guide, not a guarantee
This is the part that matters most, so it is first.
Running and walking on trails carries risk, and you take it on yourself. Trails change. Trees come down, tracks wash out, fires go through, and new development closes routes off. Our trail notes describe a route as it was when somebody wrote it up, and conditions on the day may be nothing like it.
Before you head out, check current conditions, tell somebody where you are going, take enough water, and turn back if you're unsure. If you're new to a route, go with somebody who knows it. Nothing on this site is advice about whether a particular route is safe for you.
Accuracy
We keep the site as accurate as we can, but we can't promise everything on it is current or complete. Event details, session times and trail notes change, and the club is run by volunteers in their own time. Where something matters, check with us or on our Facebook page before relying on it.
Links to other sites
We link out to other websites, most often to RevolutioniseSPORT, which handles our memberships, event entries, shop and donations. Once you follow a link you're on somebody else's site under their terms, and we're not responsible for its content or how it handles your information.
Content on this site
The words, photographs, design and club logo on this site belong to Sapphire Coast Runners or are used with permission. Please don't reproduce them without asking us first - email committee@sapphirecoastrunners.com.au and we will usually say yes.
Photographs on this site are taken at club events. If you are in one and would rather not be, tell us and we will take it down.
Membership, events and insurance
Club membership and event entry are handled on RevolutioniseSPORT under the terms shown there, and membership is linked to Athletics NSW. What insurance covers is a matter for Athletics NSW and their insurer rather than something this website can answer, so ask the committee if you're unsure.
